If you are a card counter, that is a perfect strategy. Since the index (hilo) is zero (0) to stand on 16 vs 10, and since you will have your bigger bets out at counts > zero, then do the optimal "big bet" play which is stand, unless you can surrender. In that case, always surrender.

There is a "counter's basic strategy" floating around, the idea being that the basic strategy is computed at a TC of +2 only, rather than having the TC float all over the place as for normal BS. The idea is that you'd be better off learning the right plays when you have more money out, and if you play consistently, the EV loss is not that significant, but the pit/eye doesn't have any BS departure plays to analyze to peg you as a card counter...

if they use "automatic shufflers" where the dealer inserts N decks of cards, and gets N decks out, then there is no problem. If it is a "continuous shuffling machine" there is no point in playing. It is a -EV game. Don't play.

that's a CSM if they stick cards back in after each round or two.

Don't play.

i just read an essay about csm

it said the chance of getting T or BJ for player is larger

and the edge of casino is lower for BS players

however player will lost more because the game will play in a faster speed per hour

so , i just confusing , if more we play , more we lost , why we not just standing behind and find a big lucker player

just bet two rounds on his cards , first 1000 US , if win then 2000 US
then leave the casino immediately when we win both , i think that will be the best chance to win rather then be a player on the table

a CSM makes the game faster, exactly what a non-card-counter does _not_ want. You want to find the slowest dealer, at the fullest table, with the most side-bets, and play there. Fewer hands per hour translates into reduced loss per hour...

play less to loss less

then dont play no loss

Beyond14- I think you are correct about the best chance to win...1000us
and if you win, 2000us. It makes no difference if you play or stand behind
this so called lucky player. By playing only two hands you don't allow
enough time for the HA to overcome random chance, but it is also your
best chance to lose quickly as well. If you play only occasionally and can
afford the loss this may be your best bet, but suppose you play this two
hand strategy frequently. Each two hand session is a continuation of the
last two hand session for the rest of your life and you will lose .5 of your
investment regardless.
