has any body succesfully played Olaf Vancura's nock out blackjack system to good effect in a real casino. If so how long was your play time, what was your bet spread, your bank roll and winnings. Also what refinements did you use.
Also, can any of you math wizards out there help me. I play manly in Englnd and would like to know what changes I would need to make to the basic stratergy, to account for the European no hole card game.
Thanks 5teve.

Yes, I use the Knock Out Method. I used it for my first time with a friend in Las Vegas this past summer. This was our first time counting in a casino. It definatley does work. We used it on 2 deck games. You can definatley see it work. I won plenty of insurance bets when the count was +3 or higher and so did my pal.
We played at a $5 table using a 1-4, and 1-5 spread. We used that spread since our combined bankroll was only $1900. My pal plugged those numbers into a blackjack calculator software to come up with a bet spread that would give a minimal risk of ruin. Risk of ruin with that bet spread and bankroll size was calculated to 13%.
During the end of our week in Las Vegas we felt super comfortable with this K.O. Method that we starting learning some of the indicies. We found these indicies to be quite effective too!
We did not turn a huge profit because our BR and spread were apparently too low. However we were satisfied in that we saw the method work, therefore we were beating the game mathematically. That was our first time, so that was a test run. Next year we will be better prepared for what we need to do. No matter what system you use there is always going to be those win/loss swings. We experienced both bad runs and good runs. The K.O. System I find to be very simple and effective to use and that is the reason why we picked it. I thought it was a good system for us beginners. I will still explore other systems. But for now K.O works for me.
Good luck!
