I watched a guy hit a hard 20 with a double down for 15, when he was playing 25 and get booted from the casino.
I think he caught a glimpse of the ace in the shoe.

ok what u just said is confusing... what do u mean "with a double down for 15"?? was he playing 2 hands and also dd'd when he had 15 on that hand? which casino was this?
does anyone understand what he's trying to say???
sigh...................liEzeL
I think he means he doubled down on 15 and caught 20. Still, is that reason to be kicked out? We must not have all the facts here!

VERY confusing what he is saying, but this is my guess....
The guy had a 20 count and doubled down for $15 (double-for-less) when he was betting $25.
He said he was "playing 25", since you don't play a 25 count (that would be a bust) I assume he's meaning BETTING 25.
What DOESN'T make sense in this scenario is..
WHY would you double for less if you caught a glimpse of the ace you were going to get? The ace would give you a 21 (can't lose), so I can see why a cheater would double but not double for LESS.
Just my thought....
Maybe the original poster will clarify him/her self.

The one Dealer Up Card that I see BUST way more than ALL the others is a 6 Up...
with a 4 or 5 Up, I see the Dealers all too often making a total of 20 or 21...
but with a 6 Up, very often Busting with a total of 22 through 26.
