How many of you "Drink and Play" no lies allowed.

I allow myself one good drink each time I play, but never at the table.
At my favorite casino, I got to know this Irish bartender; he knows what
I like and how to make it. Its a double shot of whisky, water and one block
of ice(these are Irish shots understand)or its Irish coffee made in a proper
way...my way. If my wife is with me, then I can cheat and have wine with
dinner and she never knows the difference. If my wife is playing the slots
and I've played all I want , then I can have another Irish coffee made in
the usual proper way. This is allowed so that I will get out of her face
so she can give more of our money away................................

I never drink when I am playing. There is a reason casinos give you free drinks when you gamble.

Get this....no free alcoholic drinks in Detroit and Windsor. It DOES erase the need to cover with a pretend drink because almost everyone is drinking the free juice, coffee, and soft drinks. It's always funny when some unsuspecting person gets burned and has to BUY an expensive drink.

I'll drink, mostly beer and Irish coffee, but never excessive ammounts - perhaps one beer per half hour, then after three or four I'll slow down.

I go to casino's for fun. I can still play perfect basic strategy so the free drinks almost counteract the casino advantage!

The danger for me if I drink too much is that I'll go daft and put down big bets just because I won the last couple of hands, but I can recognise the symptoms and reign in.

To my mind free drinks are a part of the casino experience, I even favour casino's that offer bottled beer rather than those nasty plastic cups of p*ss.

Yes. Of course I drink. I smoke cigars, too.

I usually take advantage of the free drinks, but I rarely have more than a few. Whether I'm out with friends at a bar or at a casino, I don't enjoy getting drunk. So I'll have a few and then switch to juice or water or coffee.

Hey D -- My guess is that the coffee is stronger and better on the Windsor side, right? Arizona casinos don't hand out free alcohol either, and bottled water is $1 plus tip -- we're in a drought in a desert so water is scarce, but soda and coffee are free. Lately I've ordered drinks while playing because I've shelved card counting for a while. By the end of a work week I just want to relax and keeping count is just more hard work, but one or two drinks won't impair my ability to play solid basic strategy. Glenmorangie Scotch or Belvedere Vodka. At Arizona casinos, that's an unusual order. The rest of the table is drinking Budweiser or Coke.

I like to pay attention when I'm at a blackjack table.
that's why I like just a little bit of coke.
...in my double-tall glass of Captain Morgan!!!!

Never had any heat.
