Casino Klingons

So I met a new type of person at the Casino last weekend. I'm gonna call him the Klingon cuz he will sit beside you to talk and watch your play. He doesn't play himself but knows and plays other times he says. He is actually looking to warm up to you so he can ask you to place some $1 chips on top of your bets each time you play. I figure the guy is horridly in debt and is doing this to try to get $20-$30 together to have a crack at a $5 table. I never got asked myself but other players told me what he was up to. He eventually found a young player to agree. I know the casino doesn't like this but its not illegal as long as the player at the table controls and handles the money. personally I do not want to things that will jeopordize a good relatioship I have with the dealers and pit bosses so I would politely decline his offer. Having other players jump into my play if they are playing too I don't mind, but this sort of thing is a new find for me. Anyone else ever meet up this kind of person?

Does the Klingon use his own dollars, or yours? Either way, these types annoy me and they should not be in the casino. The worst part is when they continue to coach me on how to play or criticize for making a "wrong" play. On many occasions I have watched the critical player's bankroll dwindle down to nothing while my chip count remains and grows. I enjoy playing with anyone, regardless of their BJ skills, as long as they are polite, friendly, and there to have a good time.

Word man! I enjoy playing as well with friendly people and that seems to make it all worthwhile. Ya the Klingon uses his own dollars and asks you to place money on top of your bet.

The most enjoyable recent memory for me was playing third base at a table with knowledgeable players and the 2nd base was betting big. We were all pulling for him on every bet. He got on a streak and we were all loud and throwing high-fives. Every time the dealer busted or I lost my hand, he would pitch me a green chip. (I guess he thought I was affecting the outcome!) He finished ahead about 2 grand. We all congratulated him as most all of us made some $$$ over that streak. What a night!

i love playing 3rd base. I like to swing 2 spots there. Thats real team play from that guy as sometimes you have to take one for the table playing 3rd. I often thought if just everyone else chipped in a red chip when I went down and they won it would help a lot too! :D
