Collecting Vegas Comps?

I am going to Vegas next week for a 4 day stay. I've got players cards at the MGM, Excalibur, Ballys, the Palms and Station casinos. We play often in Wendover, Nv. and find that collecting comps in Wendover is a lot easier than collecting comps in Vegas. (We go to Vegas about 4 to 5 times a year.) In Wendover, all you have to do is ask! and they "shall be given." But I find that collecting comps in Vegas is more difficult. It seems like you have to play for a really extended time in order to build up enough points. I play BJ and my husband plays slots. We usually plan on $400 to $500/day in bankroll for each of us. I really believe in player's cards; we haven't paid anything for a trip to Wendover in the past year. Any suggestions on collecting comps in Vegas?

You have to play at higher stakes tables to earn significant comps. You can also ask the pit boss for buffet comps if you have played for a while. I'm glad to see another lady who plays. I hope you play perfect basic strategy and show up all those who think they know better!!!
