If your not a pro and you get ahead leave.At least put some of it away.If we assume the books are correct and the house has 1% or 1.5% or whatever against a resonable basic strat then this is not impossible to overcome at least in the short term,but the vast majority of players play till they lose.Think about that for a second.This makes leaving with a profit impossible.
So if you buy 100 and find yourself with 150 put the 100 back and play the 50.If you lose that get out.

Know Basic Strategy for Hit and Stand 17.
Look for Surrender games, and keep an eye open for Resplit Aces.
Do not play at tables that are both H17, and no Double After Split.
Never play 6:5 Blackjack, PERIOD.
Avoid 8-deck games, and 6-deck games with less than favorable rules: 6 or 8 deck games of Stand soft 17 are preferred.
It is sometimes better to bet 1-4 at a $25 table than it is to try 1-10 at a $10 table.
Progressions are not advantageous, just lucky.
Mind your manners but defend your seat. Juice is for losers.
