Q for Walter: Continuation of bet increases when winning?

Out of interest, What is or would be the results in your 5000 hands of play ( or in deed in other test that you have done ) when you have made a continuation of bet increases when winning ( till a loss occurs) v's " your caping off " of bet increases at the $50 limit when winning? thanking you, belucky and take care

Colin: I've run numerous studies testing all types of progressions, including not capping the bet, and none of these variations have outperformed the four step method (after 500 hands or so). Seems like continuing the progression often leads to some crazy split-double down combo where the player loses all bets and wipes out previous profits...
