An article by Reuters I found while doing IR&DD (Investor Research and Due Diligence) today. Of note is the small paragraph about the decline in DOWNTOWN revenues in part due to the closing of BINION's.

N&B - Ya' got that right...I played Binion's for the first time in 1965, during the 'glory years' of The Shoe....It just ain't the same now.

Played there 1978-1991 just once or twice a year, a refreshing break from AC, but then we got our own 2 casinos, and the rules are good enough to stay. I used to love the double deck dime game, and the craps were just about the best odds in Vegas. Gonna miss Benny's place.
