Checked into Mandalay Bay, Saturday, long lines, place over crowded, most guest from Asia, (American’s were minority), over an hour wait for Buffet, place was a Zoo……
6 deck BJ, Sat PM, few $10-H17, mostly $25 H17 & S17, with surrender.
Sun 8:00am to noon, played 2 sessions, Quiet, friendly, lots of seats at lots of $10 tables, S17. Played Walter’s 10, 15, 20, 25 progression, Won 10 units total
Monday moved to Paris, 8 Deck, H17, Sur, lots of $10 & $25 tables. Played at Bally’s (At Bally’s about 1 table in 3 was single deck, 6 to 5, dealt face up. Didn’t play!!)
Saw only one DD, dealt face down. Had dinner at top of Stratosphere, average food, bad service, but worth the $$ for the view.
Tuesday AM , walked to Caesars, lots of $10 & $25 tables. S17 & H17, Sur. Lost 9 units
Saw player betting blacks, in 15 min I watched he hit 5 BJ’s & seemed to win 3 out of 5 bets. Must have had a wide/high pile of 50+ chips. He was betting flat, 2 chips with bad BS. When you’re hot, you’re hot!
Wed AM walked to Aladdin, tables had a sign “No mid shoe entry with $100 bet”
$10, $15, $25 tables, H17 & S17. Lots of seats, lots of action, place was hopping,
Thursday AM ( I like the 8:00 to noon time, quiet, lots of seats, dealers friendly, players drinking coffee, not booze.) Up 14 units, hit a run of 7 W’s, It felt good so kept progression going across new shoe. First shoe, 4 W, Second shoe 3 W.
Fun Story: At Mandalay Bay, young lady walked up to table I was at, put a $100 bill down on the mark and played the money (no chips) lost; next put $50 bill, lost; next put $20 bill, lost; next put $10 bill ($10 table) and won, Smiled, and walked off. Now that’s a progression…… :wink:
