It depends on your spread. With the same spread, the 2 deck game would be slightly better across the board. If you increased your spread of the 6 deck game by about 50% they would be almost equal.

Here's the analysis from Norm's (qfit) CVCX:

for the DD game.

spread win rate
1-4 $4.64
1-6 $7.09
1-8 $11.39
1-10 $13.67
1-12 $14.30

For the SD game.

spread win rate
1-4 $2.51
1-6 $5.11
1-8 $6.71
1-10 $8.65
1-12 $10.08
1-16 $12.08
1-20 $14.71

Realistically you can probably get away with 1-8 in DD if your unit is $5. If it is $100 you can forget it. With shoes, 1-20 is doable, particularly at $5 min bets. At black, again that's a pretty big spread.

At the same spread, the dd game is better in every case. But you are not going to get away with spreading as big in a DD game as in a 6D shoe.

note that I fixed the min bet to $5 in the above numbers.

As Grifter has stated, there is very little difference and this is mostly due to the casino adjusting the rules and conditions. DD would be much better if you were selecting the rules.

In most environments DD means higher units. Typically they are 25-50-100 in most locations, but not all. These tables tend to have less players and that is a good thing.

So which is the best game? You can't make a real determination until you visit and make your decision based of what you see, what is available.
