Sorry but .......what is a "Quit point" that everyone talks about, what does that mean......

And for today......spent 15 hours was a hell of a day........total of 5 actall playing hours and 1432,50$ in profit....... my team mate playing in the back made a bit less.......something like 1200$ she is a twit and did not place her bet in the back fast enought a few times

Maybe I will do this full time.......going back tomorrow for an other big day......

good cards to all

A quit point is a point in time that you stop playing. This is determined by whatever/whoever’s advice you might heed. Typically you might quit after 3 or 4 losses in a row, or, a predetermined monetary loss. This takes a great deal of discipline as you might quit that particular shoe (for example) and just change tables or casinos. The use of these quit points is as varied as the player using them. I’m sure they’re a lot of different and more in depth explanations for them, but I prefer to K.I.S.S and just walk away and try again the next day after a 50% penetration into my BR or to change tables after 4 losses. Then there's quit points for when you are winning as well (those are the best kind), I usually will call it a session if I can triple my bankroll. This too takes a great deal of self-control and a true desire to walk away a winner.

montreal-The term pen relates to how far in the shoe/deck the
dealer deals prior to shuffle. Example: In an 8 deck shoe, if there
is two decks behind the cut card, we say 75% pen. In six decks, if
there is 1.5 decks behind the cut card, that is 75% pen also. This
consideration/term is only important if you count cards. Makes no
difference to the basic strategy player.
