To me long term hours are not necessary to be successful in the long run. I believe a professional with a $60,000 Bankroll can make a return of 50% annually if he plays alone and is satisfied making $700 weekly playing 20 hours.
In fact, I believe this can be accomplished at your local casino without getting a Tap.

I don't care what the sims say when you can spread a min of 25/50. The key point's - sharing and pen.

But those are long term hours. If you play 20 hours a week for 50 weeks (two weeks vacation :)) then you'll get in 1,000 hours of play. A decent game will have a N0 of around 200 hours or less, so you're beyond 2 standard deviations at that point. The long run is usually a lot shorter than most people think. If you play a strong game you will get the money.
