NY NY and MGM Grand

I am going to Vegas in March from Monday to Wednesday and I am hoping to find $5 games at NY NY and/or MGM Grand. I like their 6 deck games (according to Pi Yee press) and was wondering how likely I am to find $5 tables.

Any recent experience?

Based on my internet reading and I do not know where I read it, but I am 100% sure that you will find $5 tables and even $2 tables in Las Vegas. They need to attract customers and that is the only way to do it. Las Vegas also has a 15% vacancy rate for their apartments. People are moving away because of the high temperatures in Las Vegas. It has the heat of the desert. And that 110 degree heat keeps people at home or at their jobs mostly. Bye.:)
