Okay, I've been working with the KISS I counting system and boy am I impressed. First ever since I've heard that counting 'doesn't work agains't a six deck shoe' blah blah I almost gave up but continued to practice anyway.
Well the other night I went in with a small amount of money to finally give it a try ($60) and I found a decent shoe with 2 players. Well I waited till the shuffle and counted behind the scenes. Waited till the count rose to 21 and jumped in and played, at the end of the shoe I was $100 dollars ahead. I flat betted the next shoe lost ten bucks than left. I continued doing this for roughly an hour but instead of staying at the same casino I moved on to the next one but didn't find very many advantagous shoes available so I called it a night. My betting was $5 to $15 a hand.
Counting does indeed work. You just got to be patient with it. An important note is that this method seems to annoy the 'avarage' player who have no idea of what I am actually doing. Patience seems to be the key here and persistance. Alot of gamblers believe the 'order is sacred' which is such a bunch of crap.
I got backed of just watching by not the casino but by a player at this five dollar minium table. Told me that I was a 'jinx' or some superstitious crap like that. It was really funny. I guess he played craps alot because blackjack doesn't work like that.
