Have 2, Q, dealer shows 2.
Strategy chart says hit, I hit. Hitorstandtip comes up -- Usually don't risk busting when the dealer shows 2-6, but this is a rare case. So what's rare about it?

A hard 12 against a dealer 2 is not a common hand, but it is not rare either.

However, a hard 12 is the only busting hand we would hit against a dealer 2. Maybe that is what makes them think it is rare. But I wish these error messages didn't come up on hands that are played correctly.

when i have a 12 i stand on 4-6. Do you guys hit on a 3 or no?

I generally dont hit on a hard 13 with a dealer showing a 2 or three. But its a hard call
