I've been hearing a lot of good things about the KISS card counting systems. I would like to know what makes the system special? How does it work and how does it compare to High/Low and other systems like Wong Halves or Hi-Opt? I've been debating whether I should buy Blackjack Blue Book II by Renzey or Proffesional Blackjack by Wong. Any suggestions??

I have both books and definitely recommend Renzey's Bluebook II. The KISS system is easy to learn and implement in the casino. Renzey does a great job explaining the system. My second favourite book is probably Arnold Snyder's Blackbelt in Blackjack.

KISS II

A 0
10 - K -1
9 0
8 0
7 0
6 +1
5 +1
4 +1
3 +1
Black 2 +1
Red 2 0

KISS III

A -1
10 - K -1
9 0
8 0
7 +1
6 +1
5 +1
4 +1
3 +1
Black 2 +1
Red 2 0

With 6 deck game you start your count at 9 and you start to increase your bet when ever you get a count of 20 or higher.

thanks skunk, when u said in a six deck game u start your count at 9 and increase your betting when u reach 20 did you mean the true count or just the running count. i hate calculating the true count and if there's any way around it please explain thanks.

The beauty of the KISS counts is that you don't have to do a true count conversion. The KISS counts are unbalanced. The black 2's help gauge how many decks are left automatically. Thus you only ever have to work with a running count.

Using KISS III (6deck), I start with an initial running count of '9'. You are at a true count of +2 whenever the count is '22'.
