Do You Ever Get Harassed at a Table?
  • Has anyone ever been scolded by another player for not playing correctly or being too friendly?? I have on a couple times but most players and dealers are quite willing to assist in any questionable hand. but last Sunday I had a guy tell me straight that I should stay away from the table until I learn properly   . I did not even play the move I was considering it was thinking out loud and talk amoungst the other players. I really felt uncomfortable and was considering reporting to the the pit boss but he kind of shut up after he seen me win hand after hand and his roll was diminishing fast. So that got handled.

but what do you do if someone continues? Tell the pit boss? I have only had this happen a couple times so far.
  • this is a common thing for card counters. The ploppies at the table will go insane when you do things like hit a 12 vs dealer 4 in negative counts, or when you hit A7 vs 10, which is a pure basic strategy play anyway. After getting a lot of grief, you can pull off the ultimate "move" and split 10's against a dealer 6 up when the TC is +4 or higher. That will usually run them right off the table, which is a good thing... Make sure you tell the dealer "I had a hunch the loud-mouth would leave when I did that.."

Otherwise, you can always answer "if you put your money in my betting circle, you can play my hand however you choose. Otherwise shut up."
  • in no hole blackjack (dealer gets dealt one card to begin wif and one card at the end of all the players turn) the flow of cards are very important.

This is because a player influences wot the dealers second card is going to be. Do you think it is acceptable to criticise a player for playing a wrong move causing the dealer to win in this game?

Secondly I find a good way to get rid of anoying players is to split your 10's v 7 or lower or something risky, and then watch their reaction when you win

I like the first part of this  . I don't want to get myself thrown out of the Casino by telling another person to shut up though ! :?

I never knew about the no hole BJ. Learn something new everyday thanks. That game would just murder BS. SSR said the similar thing and this seems the best thing to do. Make em roll their eyes in total shock!  :D I wil do it if its a minumum table and no one else has a pile of $100's out there
