6-5 SD blackjack is everywhere in Vegas. Its a house game with a very large edge.. Being able to double down on only 10/11 makes it a fools game.
True 3-2 SD BJ exists in a few places downtown.

The house edge on that game is around 1.75%. You're better off playing craps. Vegas loves you too. :)

  • They do have single deck blackjack at the Mandalay Bay Casino as well. There are several tables available and I have done quite well there. Dealers are friendly!

That game also pays 6:5 for BJs which makes it a terrible game. In fact, every SD game on the strip is a 6:5 ripoff game. The only real 3:2 SD games in Vegas are Downtown in places that most people wouldn't want to go.

  • I love the glitzy hotels for the rooms, but I am not opposed to playing at a less than savory casino Downtown. Any recommendations for SD BJ Downtown, Sonny?

The Four Queens has a 3:2 SD game but they use a cut card so it is pretty weak. The Western still has 1 SD table but it is pretty far away and not really worth the walk. The El Cortez has a few tables of decent SD games but they get a bit sweaty if you play well. As far as I know those are the only honest SD games in Vegas.

  • Blackjack pays 6 to 5 the first rule is never play 6 to 5 than you can only double on 10-11 that sounds like a Harrahs game.
  • Patooey!

The Peppermill in Reno is THE Place to GO because that casino only has
two versions of Blackjack, both of which are hand shuffled and delt:

Single Deck pays 3 to 2 on a natural.

Double Deck also pays 3 to 2, too.

The single deck: double down only on 10 and 11.

The double deck: double down on any 2, cards and DAS.

But! The dealer in either game hits soft 17.

The BJ tables in the 'common' area have a $5 min and 1000 Max.

    Heat is modest.
