True Count
  • Need someone to point me in the right direction here.

Looking for modified basic strategy charts based on the true count of the table. I.E., when to bet higher or lower, or change strategy based on the count.

    Thanks in advance.
  • The charts are usually included in the books that teach the system. Wong’s books cover HiLo, Snyder’s covers Red 7 and Zen, Humble’s covers Hi-Opt I & II, Uston’s cover his counts, Vancura’s covers KO and it’s variants, etc. There are also a few charts on the web for popular system like HiLo and KO, or you can use one an index generator to make your own. You can find links to all of those here:

  • Thanks Sonny. You've been a big help so far.

I am looking for Hi/Lo charts, so I checked out Wong's book (Professional Blackjack) and found it to have exactly what I was looking for... but it only gave adjusted strategy for single-deck games and four-deck games. I'm looking for six-deck strategy, and have had trouble finding the info from your link - do you have any confirmed source for this info? Either the book I should check out, or a direct link I can go to? Or will I have to modify based on some other chart to fit what I'm looking for (Specifically 6 decks H17, DAS, no surrender)?

    Thanks in advance.
  • If you have Wong’s numbers for the 4D game then you can use them for any multi-deck game. There might be some slight differences depending if the game is S17 or H17, but those differences are described here:

In general, the indices are just estimations so even if you’re off by 1 or 2 points it won’t hurt you much in the long run.
