Mohegan Sun / Foxwoods Hand Dealt Blackjack
  • Hello,

I have been using basic strategy at Mohegan and last week went with my mom and played all her hands as well telling her what to do.

I doubled my money, and she broke even.

They where definitely using a CSM but couldn't tell how many decks they where playing. I will pay more attention next time.

I have never even looked for hand dealt since I play 5 dollar tables at Mohegan and never played at Foxwoods. Realistically I am looking for advice for the best tables to apply basic to around CT/New England.

    Thanks Keith
  • By no means am I looking to count, I do not want to feel like Im asking for the golden ticket.

Just enjoy playing blackjack, memorized the charts, and want to know what would be the best place to play.

I understand if people wan't to keep hot spots to their selves. I will do some foot work and discover some sooner or later.

There's no easy answer to your question, as there are no "hot spots" unless a particular casino runs a promotion (usually for a short period of time) to attract new players. CSMs are advantageous to casinos because they increase the number of hands dealt per hour and increase casino profits due to their built-in edge against basic strategy players. Number of decks have no serious effect (4 or 5 are most common) on player outcome. Best bet is to slow down your decision making on each hand, or play at a full table. In general, it's best to avoid playing at CSM tables if hand-shuffeled games are available at the same minimum bet level. Best of luck!
