Deck favourable for the player ?
  • I played 1000 hands (i.e. 50 times 20 deals)...

statistics come out like this :

    - I played 99,34 % correctly
    - I earned 3,24 % per 20 deals
    - running count was 4,66 on the positive side

should I think that hitorstand is fixed to go my way to get me to go to a casino ?
  • another 1000 hands:

    - 99,4 % correctly
    - 1,02 % per 20 deals winnings
    - running count 6,52 on average after 20 deals

    comments, boys and girls...

I play flat bets (5 units per bet) so the 1,02 % relative to 100 (start capital)
  • oh no...another 1000 hands

    -99,18 % correct...
    - 6,56 % winning per 20 hands
    - running count 5,98 after 20 hands...

I´m starting to rest my case...
  • should I think that hitorstand is fixed to go my way to get me to go to a casino ?

I suppose no matter what the game/website or world event, there will always be those suspicious of a conspiracy theory. You sure played a lot of hands to attempt to prove it. A few comments...

    - My understanding of this BJ trainer is that the deck is reshuffled after each hand; therefore, a running count will do you no good. Thus, changing bets per the running count would be fruitless other than for practice.

    - Read the note on the "home" page of this site...it reads "Hit or Stand is a free online blackjack game and trainer that teaches you blackjack strategy while you play. The goal of the game is to make a high percentage of correct moves, not to earn money..." I interpret this to mean that this website game is intended to train people on Basic Strategy, not counting cards or betting strategy or more importantly...earning money. There are other more powerful software programs out there that perform this function as well as numerous books that discuss it.

I would suggest that you read the message board more closely or the other notes on the "home" page. There are a lot of good pointers by experts with a ton of experience as well as good references and links. There is certainly enough info for a reasonable person to conclude that going to a casino after learning BS on this website (and nothing more) would not lead to a casino being a cash cow in the longterm.

I doubt that his website was designed by the casino lobby on a grassy knoll, by those who faked the 1969 moon landing, or those who dressed up in a Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti suit, etc. as method of sucking people into the casinos. Maybe this would be a good topic for Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel.

I could be wrong, but that's my opinion.
