Northern Nevada trip
  • Just got back from a trip to Northern Nevada. This time I didn't make the mistake of playing one casino too much I played at 15 different casinos over three day period. I finally think I am able to figure out when the heat is on and when I am being watched. Is it always bad when you cash out, you are not a high roller and the pit boss comes over to give you a hand shake and asks for you name first and last? If a pit boss keeps staring at you when you look at them they look away, the heat is on right? The hardest part of blackjack for me is to figure out when the heat is on except for when it is obvious.
  • being watched for what ? winning too much money ?

Being watched if you are a Card Counter
  • would you say you're good enough to beat the casino now?
  • avs21 hope you had a profitable trip. It is interesting that the more we learn about this game the more we have to look like fools. Sometimes learning proper cover is as hard as learning to count.

I did way better than I should have since I was betting red, I won $1130 over the three day period. The cover actually is one thing that I find is easy, I usually will have couple drinks and be talking the whole time. Just trying to figure out when the heat is coming on is a different story. I am getting better, but still need more experience. I got back last night and went to sleep for 12 hours. My sleeping schedule in Reno I would wake up at 1am in the morning this really tired me out by the time I had to leave. Do you also try to play in middle of night and skip early evening?

I think so, but not 100 percent sure.
