win1 ...gossip is just what that is. He's probably made twice as much on the ponies. He's quite a handicapper, too. But, if he looks like the picture I've seen of him, he's still playing 21 occasionally. With an entourage.

After all of the lively and interesting discussions here in the last while. I was wondering if anyone is playing full time and if so what are your results and how are you playing?
Is anyone shooting toward playing full time?
Whenever I walk past some tables, it seems that someone has a big stack of chips in front of them.....is it one of you?
Regards,
Win1
AlexD30 said:[quote=blackjackfever]I'm thinking about playing BJ fo a living and am beginning to work hard at it by sudying as much as I can (i.e. BS, counting, reading a lot). I haven't taken my first step yet and realize that the more I learn the more I realize I have a lot more to learn. When I mention playing professionally to people they look at me like I have 2 heads. Am I crazy? Is this a viable profession? I am in my 30's, college educated and am told by family, friends and even strangers when it comes up that I'm intelligent and have a lot of common sense. I've yet to pick a career that sits right with me and have some money for an initial startup. So, what do you guys think - what, if any, is my next step?

Would you mind elaborating on that. It's seems to me the more hours that you play, the more you make. No?

I do. I play about 40-50 hours per week. Make more money now than I use to make with card counting. I have much less fluctuations, much smaller average bet and more profit. Now I can play any game.
Now, which one would you choose - Full time or part time
