What's the difference between LV and AC Multiple Deck?
  • I notice on the strategy chart listed on www.hitorstand.net/strategy.php that there are a few minor differences in the strategy. Namely on whether to split some pairs like 2's 3's 4's and 6's.

I see the strategy is different so assume the rules must be different.
    What's the diff?

Going on a carnival cruise and I don't know what rules they use.

    Please help if you can.

    Thanks

DAS (double after split) will impact these splits. If you can DAS then split the above hands according to the chart.

I would guess that the cruise will offer 8 deck shoes, DAS, DOA, S17, No surrrender and noresplitting aces. The rules could be worse... like Double on 9,10,11 only or no double after splits.

    Enjoy your cruise!
  • Royal Caribbean had the rules you list except the dealer hit on soft 17 (H17).
  • Hit on a soft 17 is VERY bad for the player. If you can, I'd stay away form those tables.
