Which Direction to go after Basic Strategy?
Hey Grifter Well its superaggresive for me at least 8). I think I have posted it before a long time ago. You already know what my usual conservative progression is. The aggressive one is a '3 Streak' progression. Basicly the goal is …

I also have to agree with Ray, are you a guy that sees the card deck as 'pictures' in your head and they all have a mathamatical symmetry? Do you like to toss the dice and hope it will be your lucky day and want to give yourself the best c…

Blackjack software or web site.
I don't have the mind for the graphs and statistics but CV allows for everything I need in drilling for counts and basic strategy, you can't go wrong with it. It will let you adjust to near any casino rules in the country as well.

I think Desert Dogs patented 'Phalanx Technique' is just as good. Seriously I have seen children being taught a finger counting method in which they could do remarkable add, subtract, multiply devide computations. I'm sure if someon…

Heredity or environment?
No one in my family ever wagered on anything. My first gambling experiances were at the race track in Hot Springs Ar in college, when I was devestated and ashamed when I lost 6 or 10 bucks. I go deer hunting in Wisconsin every year with the relati…

Now what are your plans for the 6:5 blackjack games, something I see as more ominous than the CSMs, at least the house advantage is less than .5% on a lot of CSM games.

I find one card at a time easier than two at a time because with two you are evaluating both of the card's relationships as well as the total count, one card at a time you just have to gauge the count, so its not cheating turning two, but getti…

Cpt, thanks for the report. I am continually amazed by how many times I sit down at a table and am blown away hand after hand at this 'dead even' game, of course the times I win hand after hand I ascibe to skill.

Thanks Grifter for the clarification. To make it almost dead even requires getting the extra money out for those splits and doubles, nerve wracking enough, but with a martingle it would seem especially stressful since you may be at a high bet. I…
