Hole card rule
Actually it depends on where you are playing. The general rule is for the dealer to check under a "10" before playing but at the Coast casinos (Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast and Barbary Coast), the dealer does not look if a "10"…

New to the board, and a couple observations.
I have the KO book and the strategy looks pretty easy. You can just learn the count first, then progress to indexes and finally adjust betting based on the count. It is nice that you don't have to adjust to a true count, especially if you…

Cash in chips, or bring them home?
I don't see any downside. If anything, buying in with chips rather than cash shows you are a repeat customer which may help you with comps, etc. I always bring my chips home and just "color down" when I go back to the casino. Nobod…

Question About 8 Decks Play
The advantage comes from seeing more cards. That way, if the shoe is really positive, there's more cards coming out before the next shuffle and a greater chance of making some serious $$$ off the shoe.

What's Spanish 21?
The typical HA for Spanish 21 is just under 1% (and that's playing perfect BS) which is pretty lousy.

Superstition
Seriously. I've seen a few people in Las Vegas with them. And it does provide a good cover not to mention helps you remember a tough play after 6 hours at the tables...not that I've ever done that

High scores
Not sure how people get 50+ but my 40 was by hitting the mouse really quickly and having lots of "hit" hands (rather than split or double) so I didn't have to move the mouse too much.

I believe the problem is the number of decks being used and the specific rules for the game a person is playing. Hitting 12 v. 3 would be proper for any game. I don't think you should trust the source that says stand. Double A/8 v. 6 is corr…
