    Default Reno Conditions

I am heading back to Reno soon. Last time I was getting different opinions from cab drivers how safe it is to be walking around at night or even around certain casinos. I plan on playing a lot early evening till crack of dawn. Any suggestions on which places to be careful at night? I kept hearing people tell me the place has got a lot worse in the past 6 months. Sorry for stupid question, but I just don't want to end up losing half of my bankroll or more from a non casino event. Last time late at night I would just stay at one casino for a long time. This time I want to be keep jumping around.

I was in Reno about a Month ago and i found it to be safe. There are some dark alley ways around some of the casinos that i would avoid but as long as you stay near the casinos and on the main roads i think you would be all right. I stayed at the sands regency and i could walk to silver legacy el dorado and circus circus safely. fitzgeralds is across the street from the El Dorado. So it is quite easy to jump between those 4 casinos. Cal Neva is close by and so is harras. I wouldnt walk any farther than those casinos though If i were in that area.

Thank you, Sands and Fitzgeralds are probably the only two casinos in that area I will play at.

I was in Reno in April and did not find it to be dangerous at all. Have never found it a problem walking around. When DT i play Circus circus sands sienna peppermill and harrahs 6d (wong in and out). There is also a place north of DT which i have forgotton the name of which is supposed to have a pretty good game. You should have no problems.

Exclamation IF you are going to Reno stop by boomtown.

the Eldorado has shitty rules play at Boomtown where they have the most liberal rules in Tahoe!! Single deck blackjack where you can double on any two cards!!! They also serve pizza in there poker room at 8 p.m. if you are into poker! All in all it is the best deal in gambling!

    Thumbs up Reno

I have to say that I think you will love Boomtown and it is quite safe. I have played there until 3 amish and never a problem. I also enjoy the Peppermill.
I get the best comps from TahoeBiltmore in N. Tahoe....2 deck game but nice atmosphere.
